Otunba Adetola Olutayo was born in the ancient town of Sagamu, (in Itunsokun Offin, Sagamu Local Government of Ogun State). Born into the family the Royal family of Prince Leasu Olutayo Ogunbowale Ogunlana of ANOKO – OGBONYARI AKARIGBO RULING HOUSE. Otunba Olutayo got inspired to commit himself to a selfless service to his community; a trait and passion he has consistently and continuously upheld till date. He is popularly known and addressed as TOLA BELGIUM by his teeming admirers and supporters, as far as the political terrain of Ogun State, especially his Sagamu constituency is concerned and he is happily married with children.
Having had both his elementary and secondary school education in Sagamu at St. Paul Primary School I & II, Aiyepe Road Sagamu ( Alagbo Itunsokun) and Remo Divisional High School Sagamu, Ogun State respectively, he graduated from The Polytechnic, Ibadan (HND Marketing) in 1997 while he completed his Post Graduate Degree (MBA) from University of Ado – Ekiti (now Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, Ekiti State) in 2002. Olutayo also had up his academic sleeve a BSc degree in Oil and Gas Management (Plymouth University – GSM London) in 2015. From Queens University Belfast, he completed his Post Graduate Degree in Construction and Project Management in 2017.

He completed his one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps programme at PPMC subsidiaries of NNPC, Mosimi, Sagamu, Ogun State as a store/warehouse clerk in 1998-1999. Adetola Olutayo today sits atop Amtoltek Services Ltd and Towal Resource International as the CEO.
As earlier mentioned, Olutayo committed himself to a selfless service of his community at a young age through his membership of various communal associations. They include:

His dedication and commitment to his people also transcends to the political platform of his primary constituency. With his considerable political experience, Otunba Adetola Olutayo has been able to impact positively on his community’s political affairs with his contribution through the following:

In 2011, Olutayo aspired to be Member, Ogun State House of Assembly, Sagamu Constituency l Offin on the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria.
2014 aspired to be member of Ogun State House of Assembly, in Sagamu Constituency 1 Offin on the platform of People Democratic Party.
2018 People Democratic Party Candidate for Ogun State House of Assembly in Sagamu, Offin Constituency 1.( For 2019 General Election).
As a Union enthusiast, Olutayo was actively involved in the operational dynamics of Unionism. At various era of his academic career:-
